4. The General

  Article 28- Political involvement
28.1 Political involvement
War should only ever be started and ended by politicians, not Generals.

A General that participates in the political process, whether by constitutional authority, design or desire risks alienating themselves from their army and the people.

There is no honor of the kind that motivates an army to battle in politics. Therefore, once a General becomes known as politician, their effectiveness as a strong General is lost and they simply become at best a powerful politician and at worst a dictator.
28.2 A general completing their commission and politics
Whenever a General is called to enter politics, they should seek to complete and retire their commission, thus preserving the honor of office and the military.
Where a General refrains from political involvement until they have properly resigned from their office, the may successfully preserve the honor and respect of their troops as well as the people.
