Article 29- Pledge to
State |
|
| 29.1 |
Pledge to State |
|
| |
A wise General should always be seen to pledge loyalty to the State, knowing that while politicians represent the State, it is the people who are the State. |
|
| 29.2 |
Coups |
|
| |
Coups are for politicians, not for honorable generals. Where a General feels compelled to usurp the claims of a government, in order to protect their honor, the General must sacrifice their office immediately upon executing such action. |
|
| |
To usurp the apparatus of state and to remain in commission as a General is to be by default a dictator, a position with absolutely no honor. However, upon such action a General resigns, then it is clear their action was done with honor and they are free to participate in the political process without disgracing the honor of their military office. |
