Article 41- Youth |
| 41.1 |
Youth |
| |
A state or nation that does not encourage its youth to undergo a period of military service is at risk of creating a generation that knows nothing of discipline, or loyalty, of honor or the cost of war. |
| |
While such a generation may claim knowledge through its observation of history, such a generation of youth will be quickly lost in any conflict for they will lack the internal discipline to follow orders and control their emotions and fear. |
| |
Therefore, for the sake of its youth and their preparation for any eventuality, the state should encourage its youth to undergo at least a reasonable period of service in the military. |
