| Knowing who is the enemy is half the battle. Knowing what the plans of the enemy is the other half. | ||

| While the essence of war is to defeat one's enemies, it must always be remembered that today's enemies will be tomorrows allies. Therefore, a wise general directs his troops to at all times honor the dead of the enemy, to respect their cultural traditions and practices. | ||
| Even if soldiers of the enemy defile the bodies of brave soldiers of the armed forces, even if the enemy kills innocent civilians or tortures prisoners, defiling the enemy dead and not providing proper rights, burial and military honors has no excuse. | ||
