  Article 61-Direct intelligence  
61.1 Direct Intelligence  
  Direct intelligence is the information provided principally by spies and insertion forces. Unlike remote intelligence, it is information provided "in position".
 
61.2 The importance of direct intelligence  
  The importance of direct intelligent versus remote intelligence cannot be underestimated. Without direct "in position" intelligence, the enemy is able to sometimes successfully create such deceptive traps.  
  A wise general never relies on purely remote intelligence, but a combination of remote and direct intelligence.
