  Article 76-Timing
76.1 Timing
Timing has always been an essential condition for optimum battle. To be patient and careful to war, but when aroused to move like lightening.

76.2 Patience in war
The most difficult quality to acquire for a wise general and political leader is patience. The patience to prepare the right conditions for battle, the patience to be well supplied, the patience to build alliances and support.
In matters of war, there always remains an impulse that falsely believes victory is to those who move quickly and decisively. This is true only once war has commence and only in the heat of battle. In all other respects, victory in war frequently goes to the side that shows the self discipline to be patient while the enemy tires themselves out with rage.
Many an army has been destroyed through the willful impulsiveness of a self-confident leader or general. That is why cool and calm heads must prevail in preparing for war.
