Disinformation

Disinformation and propaganda |
| |
Disinformation is not the same as propaganda. Disinformation is solidly based on half truths, whereas propaganda is principally based on whole lies. |
| |
Both have their merits in the conduct of warfare. However half truths are easier to be printed and transmitted by active participants in warfare such as media, because the half that is true can be used to justify the half that is false. |
| |
Therefore, if the unit number in position is two, it can become three. If the casualties in war is ten, it can become eight. If three planes have been lost, then it can become two. |
| |
A guerilla army in its ideology is programmed to deal with the lies of its enemy. But nothing angers them more than the successful publishing of half-truths which diminish their successes. |
