Psychological warfare is the term used for a weapon centric method of warfare involving the deliberate use of misinformation and other psychological actions to influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of the enemy.
Unlike Information warfare which concerns the general ability to present alternate and superior views across media and information networks, psychological warfare is the use of deliberately misconstrued information to specifically affect the enemy, or cause a certain reaction/response.
